Donatella Nicolini is an Italian-born photographer, speaker, and educator based in Milan, Italy.
Focusing on maternity portraiture, her images express her personal vision of women's beauty and strength, providing an empowering experience through every stage of motherhood.

Donatella works with some of the top brands in the photographic and related industries, such as Profoto and Canon.​

Donatella won the "Maternity Photographer of The Year 2020" award at SWPP - The Societies of Photographers.

Her portraits have been displayed in Art Galleries such as the Agorà Art Gallery in Manhattan (NY) and published on Vanity Fair, Elle, Marie Claire, Ansa, Rolling Stone, Il Corriere della Sera, Shutter Magazine just to name a few.

Since 2018 Donatella participates as a speaker and educator at numerous international photography conferences, and as a jury member of the Russian Photo Awards (organized with the support of the Committee for Culture of Russia).

Donatella has been teaching workshops for professional photographers worldwide, showing and teaching her approach to maternity photography, her method of work, her vision, and her message to help women embrace pregnancy.
