I am a photographer based out of Highland, NY, which is located a little over an hour north of NYC. Photography is something I have developed a great passion for over the years. It started in the military with just my phone. I loved taking pictures of my friends and making videos. When I was in Afghanistan I started to contemplate my future and what I wanted to do. I decided to go to school for film because it had a lot more options in the “real” world.
In film school I fell in love with lighting and camera angles and quickly started working on projects as Director of Photography. Shortly after I started school I bought my first DSLR and the rest is history. This is when I decided that I wanted to concentrate on a single frame instead of the standard 24 frames a second.
I have always been on the go. Non-stop and without caution. Photography has helped me slow down and appreciate what is in front of me.
I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Film awarded from Full Sail University and have completed some course work towards a Masters degree in photography at the New York Film Academy.
