My Dad bought me my first camera for a school tripo to London - a Brownie Box camera. At 15 I worked for a whole year in a Saturday job to buy my very first SLR , so my love of photography spans half a century, though I only had the courage to shoot weddings professionally from 2000. It turns out that my paternal granddad was also a wedding photographer, and both he and my great granddad had a darkroom at home.
I am also an artist, but only have time to paint when I am on holiday in Greece. I have won a few awards but rarely have time to enter competitions, and anyway there are loads of more exciting photpographers out there am sure!
