By day I am an engineer in the aerospace industry. I am working to send the first woman and next man to the moon and then on to mars.
My engineering eye influences my imagery through my love of details, structure and lines.
I have a reverence for nature and a love of travel.
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a genetic-based immune disorder called Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID). I have battled illness since infancy as my body doesn't make antibodies on its own. I take an infusion of antibodies from plasma donations every few weeks to stay healthy (thank you plasma donors!)
My life-long struggle with chronic illness and my struggle to live a "normal and active" life has influenced the way I approach every photograph.
