I am Daido Fireyama, a photographer from Hong Kong. I like laughter. Therefore I enjoy capturing smiling faces in the street and it is a photography project which inspires me most. Our world may not seem good, yet it is not that bad either. I want to use my camera to remind everyone that there are still many people who are working hard and laughing hard. When you see my photos, I wish you can laugh with us together! (Even in difficult times)

I have taken more than over 20k photos per years, because I regard photography is not simply a holiday activity, but it can also become part of our life. I am trying to put photography into my life.
