My name is Dana Horakova - Simmerle. I was born in the Czech Republic (Jizera Mountains) and since 2012 I live on the border between Germany and Austria on the beautiful Lake Constance.

It started a few years ago with a panasonic Lumix camera.

2014 I started taking photos for my photoblog. My passion for landscapes, castles, palaces and ruins has expanded to include vintage car and railway technology. They are two completely different worlds that are connected by history. There is still so much to discover and to admire, the art of our ancestors and the elegance of design they preserved for us.
