Biography
In my portraits I am driven by curiosity for the essence of humankind. What is left when the masks are taken off? In the stillness I look for a connection between myself and the portrayed.
I’m inspired by photographers like Joyce Tenneson. Sarah Moon and Desiree Dolron, but of course also the old masters.
In addition, I draw inspiration from my inner world. My natural interest in the human psyche and the art of living results in soulful portraits, where esthetics meets concept.
Social projects occupy a special place in my work. I like to explore topics that are close to my heart, such as inclusiveness and the school system. There I can contribute to a better society.
