Originally Ivan Kovalev from Kostroma, the old Russian town. In 2005 he graduated at Kostroma State University with a degree in physics. He became interested in photography in 2014 from the moment when he bought the first SLR camera. In 2015, he started to work with a makeup artist Julia Valerie, who also wanted to go beyond the framework of commercial "standards." Their photographic art projects is a mutual creation with similar life view points and it allows them by allegorical visualization show out the person's relationship with surrounded world. Ivan Kovalev photography art has been nominated and won numerous times in Russian and worldwide competitions and published in PhotoCASA, Eye -Photomagazine and Photographize magazines.
