Jess Kristen Peterson, born May 20, 1982, in Santa Monica grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from the USC School of Cinema-Television in 2004. Growing up in LA, Jess was deeply surrounded by the brilliant fascination of visual narration. There she honed her artistic talents for capturing the stories of her subjects. Today, Jess lives in Vancouver WA where she explores and uses the stunning Pacific Northwest as the backdrop for her natural light pet photography. She is also a musician, watercolor and stained glass artist, among other things.
