Ever since I was a little girl, I've been documenting the world around me. It first began with drawing everything I could see and then, eventually, I would sneak my mom's Polaroid and use up all the film in the house. I knew there was something so special about holding those moments in my hand, even from such a young age.
My journey continued throughout my undergrad and graduate careers as I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees. I created my business in 2008 while still in undergrad. I built a darkroom in my basement a few years later. I meticulously documented my children's lives and exhibited a series on Motherhood locally and nationally. Today, my boys make photographs with me, side-by-side.
I will always be obsessed with holding on.
I like long walks on the beach and sipping Pina Coladas (not really - I don't drink). I do love hiking though. Thanks to my partner (and best friend, musician, writer, photographer, thru-hiker, life-changer), my very first hike was the Narrows in Zion. It was during Covid, so the road was shut down. What should've been a few miles ended up being 18 all together. Not bad for a noob.
I'm a gamer and super introvert extraordinaire. I still want to be an astronaut when I grow up. I'm obsessed with space and art and animals. I'm a loud mental health advocate and believe in being open and saving space for one another. If you ever need someone to talk to or just listen, I am always here.
