Where does my artistic biography begin? My mother may say it began on childhood walks to the grocery store. If she wanted to get the errand done, she would take my sister. If she wanted to be shown each beautiful flower pressing though the tattered city streets, she brought me. I “saw things” everywhere as long as I can remember. Not much has changed since the grocery store walks essentially, I get paid to show my perspective through my lens in the commercial space.
I specialize in creating scroll-stopping images for amazing people and amazing brands. I work heavily in the beauty products and CPG. The majority of my work is used in the marketing space, so I consider grabbing the viewer’s attention and interest as a primary purpose of my art, as well as creating curiosity for the client’s marketing objective. I shoot with the awareness that the right image can create hundreds, thousands, and sometimes millions of dollars for clients so I rely on my imagination, color, and boldness to achieve the goal of capturing the attention of viewers. I have the great pleasure of seeing my work on the shelves as I walk through Target or ULTA beauty to pick up items on my list. In 2022, I accepted a role as staff writer for photography mega platform: Fstoppers.com. In this role I write tutorials, review gear, interview industry leaders, and keep the community up on the latest news from AI to photography-related legislation.
