Photographer: Miguel Atanes

My name is Miguel Atanes. I was born in a city in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest, an exuberant and cinematic landscape.

At 6 years old I got my first digital camera.. It was my father's gift that allowed me to see childhood through a lens.

As a teenager, I moved to São Paulo, the biggest city of Brazil, and I discovered photography. Since there, I've improving my work, my equipements and mainly my artistic vision of the world. I won two awards for best photography and made it my career.

In my life, photography is the basis of everything, because my oldest memory I have is looking through a camera lens, to show others the beauty of our life.
