Photographer: Nela Conde
I have been a designer and photographer for more than 20 years, but it was in 2015 when I started taking pictures of pets, at the beginning my only model was Francesca, a schnauzer who accompanied me for 13 years. She was my companion of adventures, support and unconditional love, who also turned out to be an excellent model. When she died, I decided to turn this project into a reality, for her, in this way I would unite my two passions: Animals and photography. Little by little more animals came to pose for me, then I studied interspecies communication and this gave a twist to my photographic work with animals.
Currently this work has become my greatest passion and I am constantly training to improve my skills.
My purpose is to reflect the way of seeing the life of those of us who share life with our dogs, cats... and other animals. Those of us who live day by day with them, those of us who work with them, and above all those of us who love and care for them above all else. I hope that through my work the world sees animals in the same way I see them, that they look them in the eyes and make them feel what I feel.
