Photographer: Sahar Hassani

My name is Sahar Hassani.
I was born in Iran, and currently live in Malaysia.
I have started my photography journey when I was young. My dad used to take pictures. I learned darkroom printing with him, when I was 10 years old, and I received my first camera for my birthday in that year.
I believe photographs are a piece of magic in time.
Portraiture has all of my heart and I am drawn to the unique, and magical qualities of human faces. I create from the weird inner part of my brain, and aim to have each piece I create stand on it's own merit. Drawing the viewer in and enticing them to make their own assumptions.
