I have been working with dogs for over 20 years and have had 5 of my own dogs that have stolen my heart. I studied film photography for 4 years and eventually got into digital photography in 2007. I have always had an interest in creating memories and my dogs are the reason behind my passion for dog photography.

I started my instagram @shandandherdogs in 2010 to have a place to share my dogs lives and help practice our creativity in the photography world. Through this I gained a following of pet lovers that have enjoyed seeing my documentation of their lives.

This sparked the interest in capturing memories for other people who love their pets as much as I love mine. I started Shand And Your Dogs Photography in 2018 to help capture moments of your dogs in the same way my dogs have captured my heart.
