My name is Smita Goyal, and I'm excited to participate in this Open Call contest. Originally from Chhattisgarh, I've called Bangalore home for the past 20 years, where I live with my supportive husband, two lovely daughters, and a pet. Professionally, I work as a portfolio manager at a leading IT company, allowing me to connect with people worldwide.

Outside of work, I derive immense pleasure from photography, travel, and cooking. My love for capturing moments sparked photography as a hobby, evolving into a genuine passion. I specialize in nature, landscapes, travel, festivals, street scenes and indoor settings. Being selected as one of the nine contestants in the Nofilter Indigo Photography Contest, among 90,000+ entries from across India, was a tremendous honour. Having my work judged by Imtiaz Ali and the esteemed photographer Mr. Raghu Rai added to the prestige. The competition was broadcasted on NatGeo, furthering the recognition of my art.
