Soichi Murakami was born in 1981 in Nagoya, Japan. He is a multidisciplinary artist who works in photography and videography . Murakami currently lives and works in Prince Edward Island Canada.
The appeal of his photography can best be summed up by a signature approach that is musing, fixated, sometimes brooding. Whether it is portraiture, landscape, or still life; at the heart of his work are themed studies that rotate between landscapes, ordinary and extraordinary memories, that create Murakami’s meditative tableaux.
