ILIJA STANUSIC was born in 1973 in Garevac, Bosnia-Herzegovina. By profession, he is a culinary technologist and a web designer. Subsequent to his accession to the Photo Club Osijek in 2017, he initiated his intensive pursuit of photography. He organized his first individual exhibition in Osijek in 2018. He has received several awards, encomia, and recognitions for his photographic works at the domestic and foreign salons (Paris, Budapest, Tokyo, Moscow, etc..). He has represented Croatia fIve times at international FIAP biennials (South Africa, Spain, 2xOman and Russia). For his creative photographic opus, the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP) bestowed him an honorary title of an artiste (AFIAP) in 2018 and an honorary Excellence FIAP (EFIAP) title in 2019. Toward the end of the year 2019, he became Secretary of the Photo Club Osijek. In 2022, Croatian Photographic Association bestowed him the title of the Third-Order Master of Photography (MF HFS). In the same year, he publishes the photo monograph "Slavonia in my eyes". He resides and works in Osijek.
